playing card captor sakura tetris
eating pavlolva
drinking tap water (crisp + cool)

i spent far too long trying to extract the sprites from the cardcaptor sakura psx tetris game because come on, they're cute. at some point i might decide it's worth it to extract them using the screenshot method but at this point i don't care enough to actually try to free them. they're currently unripped, at least if spriters resource is anything to go off of. and like, who can blame them (+ me). though that said if it was a sailor moon tetris game i bet they would be ripped already. moonies have a power and a perserverence unlike anything yet known to man.

i've been on the hunt for Games That Are Fun. the rundown of things ive been playing isn't a list of games that i dont think are fun, but i think i've been searching for a very specific kind of Game That Is Fun. so far, disgaea and other tactical rpgs have scratched the itch. i would love to rip back into 13 sentinels but i can't do that to myself. i need to like, eat and sleep and go to work these days, unlike the winter vacation during which i grinded that game out obsessively. maybe if you can just replay the combat sections (you probably can). but i'd already have to redownload the game and my ps5's storage is heaving and sad, just like both my computers. i need to invest in a like. 16tb storage bank that just lives next to the desktop and holds my visual novels that don't need to run super fast but do need a decent amount of storage space for artwork and voice lines etc.

i'm doing a test-run of burning a dvd with a proper menu and everything, to see if i can a. burn a dvd that works and b. if so, burn some of my shit off onto discs and then free up some storage on my external harddrives. which can be ripped back if need be. though i suppose you can also just burn shit to dvd as a storage medium. optical media good truly. beautiful.
